Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Saxonburg, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Saxonburg is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Saxonburg follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Amazing little Korean BBQ restaurant attached to Sprankles Market in Saxonburg that's serves both Korean and Korean American fusion with fast friendly service, delicious food, and ice cold draft beer from Grist House Brewing! The Korean Dumplings and wings were absolutely delicious but the scallion pancakes stole the show as far as the appetizers go. We also tried the "Doyle Dog" which is a Korean American fusion hotdog with jalapenos, kimchi, and cilantro and it was amazing. The Dakdoritang was a delicious hearty slightly spicy stew of chicken thighs and potatoes served with rice that was delightful. All the beers from Grist House really rounded out the meal. I can't wait to return to try their traditional Korean BBQ once it's a little nicer outside. What a little gem of spot. ππ

This is an excellent restaurant. Small dining room with a bar. Reservations are recommended. The dumplings are quite good. The Korean Fried chicken was outstanding. Ended up ordering 2 servings. The classic Korean Meal was delicious. The BiBimBap with crispy rice was very good. Service was friendly and efficient. The also have a good selection of draft beers. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Pocha by Kye Won is a true gem in Saxonburg, delivering a deeply authentic and delicious Korean dining experience. Every single dish we tried was phenomenal, starting with the fresh banchan made with high-quality vegetables and the perfectly flavored mandu. The Korean Fried Chicken was fried to perfection with an extra-crispy crunch, and the BBQ was absolutely amazing. To top it off, the dolsat bibimbap was hands down one of the best I have ever had. Beyond the exceptional food, the owner and staff are incredibly pleasant and deeply passionate about what they do. We would visit again in a heartbeat!

My mom loves Korean and itβs oddly tough to find good Korean in Pittsburgh. When my husband found Pocha, we had to book Motherβs Dayβ reservations for my mom. Since we were at Grist House, I wanted to have a drink. I absolutely loved my pineapple mojito with vodka. So sweet and delicious! We decided to try some apps because they all sounded really good and we read about how much people enjoyed the online. We started out with the Mandu (Pork Dumplings) / λ§λ were so crunchy and the meat and sauce were really good too. The scallion pancake was so crispy and flavorful. We all loved it. My husband also loved his Korean Curry Rice / μΉ΄λ λΌμ΄μ€. Heβs a big curry fan. My mom and I love Korean beef. We both had the bulgogi with noodles. We found out the beef bulgogi is cooked in fire so it was a bit more burnt than we could eat. We let our nice waitress know who talked to the owner. The owner personally came out to find out more, explain and make it right. It meant a lot to us. She remade the food with less char and it was delicious. It also came out quickly. Then she also took them off the bill. I tried to at least pay for one. It was only fair. She appreciated the gesture but would not hear

Pocha is a great place to get authentic Korean food in Saxonburg. They share a space with Grist House Beer Market so grab a beer while you eat. We tried the mandu pork dumplings, bibimbap, and Korean curry. Everything was fantastic. The dumplings were super crispy and the bibimbap was full of flavor and contrasting colors. Next time weβll have to try the famous wings.
